Gem by Quest Le'Jenn: Reckless D.A.D EP

Quest Le'Jenn dropped his Reckless D.A.D EP a little over a week ago shaking up airwaves just in time to end the Summer. The most impressive aspect of the project in my opinion is the balance of beat selection and harmonics blended all together. Through heavy usage of autotune layers and vocal placement, the hooks of each song stand out as the backing instrumental compliment them so well. The engineering to balance the many levels of vocals also enhance the listening experience. Quest appears to float throughout the entire project from beat to beat so naturally and comfortably while he tells the story of his own ascend as well as his desire to get his old fling back.
